Zhang Yiming resigns as CEO of Bytedance
The parent company of TikTok, Bytedance, is making a bold managerial change.

Bytedance has announced that its CEO, Zhang Yiming, will be stepping down from his role as the CEO of Bytedance and assuming a new but undisclosed role within the company.
Liang Rubo, a Co-Founder of Bytedance who currently oversees human resources-related activities at the company, will assume the role of CEO.
Following the announcement of his resignation as CEO, Zhang clarified that the decision was made in order to foster improvement and fast-paced progress within the organization, something he is not totally capable of doing due to his own personal shortcomings and preferences.
Bytedance has confirmed that the transition process will take six months, during which Zhang Yiming and Liang Rubo will work together to make it seamless.
