Marco Gobbetti to resign as CEO of Burberry
This British luxury fashion brand is going to have a new CEO soon but they don’t know who it is yet.
Burberry announced that its CEO, Marco Gobbetti, will be resigning from his office as CEO. He will be assuming an undisclosed position within the company at end of 2021.
Marco Gobbetti served as the CEO of Burberry Group Plc for five years. He takes credit for moving the company up the ladder in all core aspects.
According to Burberry, the reason for Marco Gobbetti’s resignation is so that he can be closer to his family.
Marco Gobbetti has a strong belief that Burberry will flourish without his leadership.
Burberry has now been the search of its next CEO who will succeed Marco Gobbetti.
