Crypto Investors lose $300 billion globally

A photo of a Bitcoin

There is no joy in the camp of cryptocurrency investors today seeing as Bitcoin, the flagship cryptocurrency plunged beneath the $50,000 price level, the lowest it has been in almost two months.

A 12.29% decline occurred yesterday, causing the global cryptocurrency market to kiss over $300 billion goodbyes. This also triggered the liquidation of over 582,000 investors.

The second-in-command cryptocurrency, Ethereum, also experienced a 10% nosedive, entering into the $2,200 region. Other Cryptocurrencies in the Crypto market are not left out of the plunging wave. XRP, Polkadot, Cardano, BNB, and others are all facing colossal losses.

The Crypto market is currently very volatile and conversations on social media are surrounding if it's a good time for investors to buy or sit back.
