Brighter Days for Naira

It finally looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel for Naira’s value.

Naira appreciates against USD at N410/$1 at the Importers and Exporters window that officially trades Forex, causing a 0.16% gain. An exchange rate of N422 /$1 was the highest rate recorded during the intra-day trading. It was also sold for as low as N394/$1 during intra-day trading.

It was also reported that the Forex turnover at the Investor and Exporters window took a 59.7% dip. Research and data show that forex turnover declined from $99.49 million to $40.13 million in the space of one day.

So far, the value of Naira has managed to stay stable at N410/$1. The question is: will it be stable?
