Andy Jassy announced as CEO of Amazon
Jeff Bezoz resigned as CEO of Amazon and his successor is already available.
In February 2021, the E-commerce company, Amazon, revealed that its CEO and one of the richest men in the world, Jeff Bezoz, was stepping down from his position as CEO in order to facilitate better managerial direction for the company.
Once again, Amazon has announced that its new CEO is in the person of Andy Jassy and he will officially be assuming his office on the 5th of July 2021 after Jeff Bezoz steps down to assume the role of Executive Chair.
Andy is no stranger to Amazon as he has been one of the company’s pioneer members since it was established in the 1990s. The Harvard alumnus is credited for making Amazon a strong force to reckon with in the Cloud Computing technology space.
Many investors are looking forward to seeing how Andy Jassy performs as the new CEO of Amazon in terms of how much value he will add to the company.
