Amazon expands to the U.K, creates 10,000 jobs

The world’s largest retail company, Amazon, has shown immense interest in the British economy.

Amazon has revealed that it is opening up office spaces within the United Kingdom with emphasis on places like Dartford, Swindon, Hinckley, Gateshead, and Doncaster.

The company has also stated that it has job openings for corporate roles within its forewalls, including the cloud computing arm of the organization, Amazon Web Services.

Amazon declared an investment of £10 million in skills acquisition training that would span up to three years for its staff who are interested in software development, HGV driving, and other useful skills.

The United Kingdom division manager of Amazon, John Boumphrey, confirmed that Amazon’s sole aim is to make available thousands of jobs across a variety of roles with great salaries and benefits.
